Products

Computers – Servers

We can take any type of PC and dismantle it completely in order to separate its various components. This ensures optimum recycling.

Laptops

Far more complex than conventional computers, the disassembly of laptops is particularly complicated. This is partly due to the screen built into each device.

Printers – Photocopiers

We can also remove your fax machines, photocopiers, printers, etc. We take all brands and sizes.

Hard Drives

We can also collect individual computer components.

Hard drives are, of course, particularly sensitive in terms of data. On request, we can physically destroy them under specific conditions.

CD-DVD Players

CD & DVD players are also components that we can take away individually and separately from larger devices.

Electric cables

We can take all power cables (with or without plugs).

Power supplies

We can remove complete computer power supplies (separately or otherwise).

Telecommunications

We also handle all types of mobile phones and smartphones (with or without batteries).

CPU

Any component of a computer that can be recycled separately will be taken into account.

Effective management of your waste

Collection

We offer a fast, flexible and efficient collection service covering the whole of Belgium.

Depending on your needs, we offer:

  • Removal of waste from your company site. Collection is performed under specific conditions, depending on the quantity and quality of the waste to be processed.

Feel free to contact us for further information.

  • We can provide Drop-off of IBC bulk container (or other type) according to the different grades of waste collected from your company site. All drop-off conditions will be analysed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our sales department for detailed information, tailored to your needs and circumstances.

  • Our collection centres in Namur and Liège have all the permits required by law to collect WEEE. As a Recupel accredited organisation, we can safely deal with all WEEE and send it to the appropriate recycling points. Please feel free to visit the websites of the other subsidiaries within the Wilmet Group to find out more about our range of services in the area of electrical and electronic equipment.

Direct recycling

We collect and sort electronic and electrical waste into homogeneous batches. After removing all harmful substances, we send the materials to foundries where they will be reused as recycled raw material.

We are always concerned about the ecological impact involved in the transportation of waste and therefore only work with European foundries.

Dismantling

Most electronic equipment consists of removable subcomponents.

We have our own disassembly platform, which operates as a social economy business and carries out these operations.

This dismantling service boasts a number of advantages:

  • It improves the homogeneity of sorted batches
  • It helps to get people back to work
  • It avoids the use of waste crushing systems

The work done by the women and men within the Wilmet Group and its subsidiaries allows manufacturers to draw less on natural resources whilst also creating jobs. These are values that the Wilmet Group strives to champion in its waste management strategy.

Data destruction

Some computers and related devices contain confidential information. On request and under specific conditions, we can take care of the physical destruction of all data and provide you with a destruction certificate.

This applies to the following types of data carriers:

  • Hard drives
  • CD
  • Archives
  • Confidential documents
  • Magnetic tapes

This list is not complete. Please contact us for further information.
